    Grief & Bereavement Counseling

    Losing someone or something close to you hurts.  Whether it is a death of a loved one or the loss of a relationship or job, the pain we feel is often intense and can negatively impact everyday functioning.  Feelings of sadness, hurt, rejection, anger, confusion, and/or emptiness are all common and very legitimate.  Finding support during these times is crucial and often helpful as we try to process the loss and our dysregulated emotions.

    At TRUE Counseling & Psychological Services, LLC, Grief and Bereavement Counseling focuses on simply offering help in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment.  There is no “right way” to grieve and goals of therapy are never to “just get over it.”  Instead, clients are provided the time and space to examine their emotions and the personal meanings behind their losses.  Through these conversations it is hoped that all individuals can find ways of continuing to function in their worlds even with the emotional pain they carry.
