    Anger is a natural, instinctive, and understandable emotion.  Problems arise, however, when a person’s anger becomes uncontrollable and/or dysfunctional in his or her everyday life.  Family relationships, employment productivity, and social engagements can become increasingly problematic when a person’s anger becomes overwhelming or unmanageable.  It is for these reasons that understanding one’s anger and factors that contribute to it become crucial to improve a person’s life.

    Anger management therapy at TRUE Counseling & Psychological Services, LLC focuses on both personal detection and effective coping strategies. Clients are assisted in recognizing signs of their rising anger so that preventative steps can be taken prior to outbursts. Simultaneously, coping strategies are incorporated so that in cases where one’s anger manifests itself, skills can be used to calm both the mind and the body.
